Lip Liquid™ is a pigment that can be added to any cosmetic product (e.g. lipstick, lip gloss, lip balm, lip tint, etc). It's designed for use by makeup artists, professional and DIY home formulators alike. Lip Liquid™ can be used with other cosmetics ingredients to create a wide range of colors including pastels and brights.

This product is Vegan, Gluten Free and Cruelty Free.

Shelf Life is 24 months. 1floz of a Lip Liquid contains about 600 drops of color. This is enough to color approximately (30) 3-gram lipsticks.

Adding approximately 10% by weight of a texturizing powder such as TKB's Pashmica will increase or boost the color payout.

Ozokerite Wax
Ozokerite wax is awesome

Ozokerite has a high melt point so requires the right equipment and some patience, but the payoff is worth it!

If beeswax = shea butter, ozokerite wax = CCT/MCT — it feels very, very thin on skin. It has a much lower viscosity than microcrystalline wax, doesn’t feel as thick, has barely any tack, and imparts a glossy sheen & quick absorption very similar to dry oils.

It’s completely non-comedogenic and therefore safe for use in leave-on skincare products (fun fact: ozokerite is a main ingredient in Aquaphor).

It can thicken, opacity & whiten many oils starting around 0.75-1%, readily blending into the skin to a barely-there feel & glowy finish (leaning towards oily depending on the formula). I’ve found it’s best to combine with other wax(es) for use in stick formulas.

Just note that it doesn’t have that thick feeling on the lips that you’ll get from other waxes & gloss bases etc., which can be a good or bad thing depending on what you’re trying to make.

I have tried bronze pearl , roasted chestnut and copper Pearl ..
bronze and chestnut work great . But for some reason copper pearl comes out like if there’s some sort of magnet in it and once I add it to my gloss . My gloss starts to give some foamy bubbles on the top .. I let it sit over night to see if it goes away and it does not. I made so many samples without adding coconut oil, without adding other colors, without adding scent, without adding preservative and no matter what way I make the samples as soon as I add the drop of copper it bubbles up so bad looks like almost foam.
