Ingredient Information and Finished-Product Labeling
TKB Trading is a distributor of cosmetic raw materials. Our published ingredient information and supporting documentation are based on information supplied by our manufacturers and suppliers.
For document availability, COA limitations, and document requests, please also review our Documentation Policy.
Available information on individual product pages includes:
• INCI ingredient list: INCI ingredient information supplied by the manufacturer
• SDS: Safety Data Sheet
• COA: our standard, representative Certificate of Analysis. COAs are not batch-specific and are not tied to TKB lot numbers.
• “OK for Use” chart: where the manufacturer's documents show the product can be used (lips, eyes, wash-off, nail polish) in the USA and EU
• IFRA statement (flavor oils): maximum usage levels by product category
We do not have access to our manufacturers' complete formulas, and we can't provide information they don't share with us.

Lip bases and other ingredient blends
We provide the INCI ingredient information and supplier documents we receive. Manufacturers consider their formulas and ingredient percentages proprietary and do not share them with us, so we cannot provide:
• Complete formulas or individual ingredient percentages
• Concentration ranges beyond those in standard supplier documents
• Calculations of which ingredients remain above or below 1% after you add other ingredients
• Ingredient order for your finished-product label
We cannot arrange confidential disclosure of formulation details that manufacturers have not made available to us.
Colors, micas, shimmers and pigment dispersions
A colorant often contains more than the substance that gives it color. Its ingredient list may also include:
• Substrates, the base particle the color coats (e.g. mica, synthetic fluorphlogopite, borosilicates, aluminum calcium sodium silicate, silica)
• Coatings and surface treatments (e.g. tin oxide, magnesium stearate)
• Carriers, in liquid colors (e.g. castor seed oil)
These are examples across different products; not every colorant contains them. The ingredient information on each product page reflects what the manufacturer has supplied to us. Beyond information disclosed in our standard supplier documents, we cannot provide:
• Percentages of individual colors within a blend
• Substrate, coating, surface-treatment, binder or carrier percentages
• The concentration of each component in your finished product
• Whether a component can be left off your label, or whether it qualifies as an incidental ingredient
The amount of a colorant you add to your formula does not, by itself, tell you the amount of each ingredient within it.
Flavor oils
Please review each flavor’s published usage guidance and available IFRA statement for the intended product category. Do not assume the same usage rate applies to every flavor. We cannot provide flavor formulas or carrier percentages beyond available supplier documentation, or determine whether your label can say “Flavor” alone or must list particular components.
Finished-product labels and customized cosmetics
We cannot prepare, review or approve finished-product labels, including:
• Ingredient order after mixing
• Which components require separate declaration
• Incidental-ingredient exemptions
• “May contain” statements
• Shared labels used across several formulas
• Personalized ingredient cards for customer-selected combinations
A cosmetic regulatory consultant can review your complete formulas, our raw-material documents, your intended uses and your proposed labels.
Before you buy for commercial use
Please review the documents on each product page to make sure they meet your business needs. If your project needs information or services beyond what we provide, arrange technical and regulatory support before purchasing.
Our documents help you choose ingredients. They do not establish the safety, stability, preservation or compliance of your finished cosmetic.
Questions or a discrepancy?
We're happy to help with general questions about a product, such as how it is typically used, what is on its product page, or where to find a document.
If a document is missing, a link doesn't work, or a label doesn't match our published information, please contact us with the product name, lot number and a photo if you have one. We're happy to check.
