Here are the guidelines for "best use":

• Use the color alone or in with small amounts of dark colors such as blue, black or green
• Use in transparent, translucent or semi-opaque formulas (for example: lip gloss, not lip stick)
• Mix it gently (avoid grinding it in a mortar and pestle or blender)
• Package in transparent packaging to show off the color shifting

You will also see the whiteness disappear as it bursts into a silvery glow.If you rub the powder across a piece of white paper with black background and tilt the paper, you will see a subtle shift from silver-green into silver-red to green-gold. This is the color-shift in action.Pluto is particularly good at showing off its "traveling hues", more so than Mars. I think you will especially enjoy using it in lip balms and pastel-colored eye shadows. I also recommend it as an opalescent additive to nail polishes. It will also add a bit of mystery to transparent bath products such as clear soap, shampoo and bath gels.
