Buy Yellow 6 for a cheaper orange alternative. Really good with staining.

I was new to pigments and there wasn't any guide and I was so baffled as to why only this dye was so expensive! It turns out it's one of the bromo acid dyes that stains really hard (along with red 27, red 21).

The "default" orange pigment people use is yellow 6, which is still very orange and way cheaper.

Fun color

Love this color! It makes a wonderful fun vibrant shade for lipglosses. I plan to experiment more with it for lipstick making.
