Octyldodecanol is lightweight, clear, emollient, oil. It is a great silicone alternative which helps to keep ingredients from separating and provide a soft, smooth appearance to the skin. It has excellent emollient properties . It is used as an ingredient in cosmetics and skin care products, in particular lip glosses, lipsticks and other makeup products.
