Chocolate:

  • Cosmetic grade, stable in high pH, "non-bleeding" blend of pigments.

Slicker Yellow:

  • Cosmetic grade, stable in high pH, "non-bleeding" blend of pigment, dye and mica.

School Days Orange:

  • Cosmetic grade, stable in high pH, "bleeding" blend of pigment, dye and mica.

Relay Race Red:

  • Cosmetic grade, stable in high pH, "bleeding" blend of pigment, dye and mica.

Clean Your Room Green:

  • Cosmetic grade, "bleeding" blend of pigment, dye and mica which will change hue in high pH.

Blowout Blue:

  • Cosmetic grade, "non-bleeding" blend of pigment, dye and mica which will turn purplish in high pH.

Our Gel Tones are blends of micas, pigments and dyes suspended in vegetable glycerin and water.

1 fl. oz. will color approximately 8 pounds of Melt & Pour soap, and 2 to 4 pounds of Cold Process soap to a medium shade.

Ozokerite Wax
Ozokerite wax is awesome

Ozokerite has a high melt point so requires the right equipment and some patience, but the payoff is worth it!

If beeswax = shea butter, ozokerite wax = CCT/MCT — it feels very, very thin on skin. It has a much lower viscosity than microcrystalline wax, doesn’t feel as thick, has barely any tack, and imparts a glossy sheen & quick absorption very similar to dry oils.

It’s completely non-comedogenic and therefore safe for use in leave-on skincare products (fun fact: ozokerite is a main ingredient in Aquaphor).

It can thicken, opacity & whiten many oils starting around 0.75-1%, readily blending into the skin to a barely-there feel & glowy finish (leaning towards oily depending on the formula). I’ve found it’s best to combine with other wax(es) for use in stick formulas.

Just note that it doesn’t have that thick feeling on the lips that you’ll get from other waxes & gloss bases etc., which can be a good or bad thing depending on what you’re trying to make.

I like them a lot

I like these for my melt and pour soaps. I used the orange in CP soap but it didn’t show up in the soap. I’m not sure if I just didn’t use enough or what happened. Soon, I plan on using these for bath bombs! I would definitely purchase again.

I love this set!

This is an absolute must for melt and pour soap makers! A little goes a long way and I have ordered bigger bottles of the blue and red because they are just so fantastic. I would highly recommend these to anyone! No color morphing, no bleeding!
