TKB's Versagel is popular lip gloss base which may be used 100% as a base with no additional additives other than color!  A question we get a lot is "How many Lip Glosses can I make with one of your 4 ounce bags of Versagel?"  Another common question is "How much color do I add to that bag?"  Well here are the answers:

Regarding Color, it will depend on how intense you want the product to be.  We recommend three types of color:  Glitter Powders, Mica Powders and Our Lip Liquids (Liquid Dyes and pigments),.  Here are our recommendations:

Glitter Powders:  Between 1/2 - 1 teaspoon (1 - 2 grams) per Lip Gloss Tube. So if you purchase 4floz of Versagel, please also purchase about 20 grams of mica powder.  You can do this by buying one 1-ounce size or an assortment of colors in sample size, about 5 -10 of those. You will make about 10 lip glosses.

Mica Powders:  Between 1/4 - 1/2 teaspoon (+/- 1 gram) per Lip Gloss Tube. So if you purchase 4floz of Versagel, please also purchase about 10 grams of mica powder.  You can do this by buying 2 - 5 different colors in the sample size.  You will be able to make 10 lip glosses.

Lip Liquids:  Between 2 - 8 drops per Lip Gloss Tube.  One of our 1/2floz Lip Liquids will therefore color from 30 - 100 Lip Glosses.  So if you purchase 4floz of Versagel, please also purchase one 1/2floz of a Lip Liquid Color, if you want that kind of color.  You will end up with 10 Lip Glosses.

I found a few videos on YouTube that show how to fill the lip gloss tubes you are talking about with an syringe and a cut piece of a pipette. If you cut the bulb and the narrow part of a pipette off and push it onto the sirynge you can place the end into a tube then push the lip gloss in with the sirynge. I recommend getting a large enough syringe that allows you to spoon the lip gloss into it.

    Hello
I use your squeeze tubes for my lipglosses
In this scenario, would you recommend heating it up to get more tubes filed? I’m finding it hard to fill and I’m experiencing a lot of air bubbles
