OPTION 2 — Add Shimmer or Glitter Ingredients
• Color Changing Lip Base – 45 g
• Lip-Safe Mica or Cosmetic-Grade Glitter – up to 5 g
Steps
1. Add base to mixing container.
2. Gradually add mica or glitter.
3. Mix slowly until evenly dispersed.
4. Let rest, then fill.
Notes: Micas may appear pink in the bottle due to interaction with the pH dye. Plastic glitters remain visually clear in the bottle. The gloss will still turn pink on lips.
OPTION 3 — Add Lip Liquid Ingredients
• Color Changing Lip Base – 48–49 g
• Lip Liquid Color – 1–2 g (approximately 30–60 drops)
Steps
1. Add Lip Liquid slowly.
2. Mix thoroughly.
3. Swatch test.
4. Adjust if needed.
Do not exceed ~5% added liquid without stability testing.
OPTION 4 — Add Blue, Purple, or Green Pigments Ingredients
• Color Changing Lip Base – 45–48 g
• Oil-Dispersible Pigment – 2–5 g
Steps
1. Add pigment gradually.
2. Mix thoroughly until evenly dispersed.
3. Test on skin before filling.
Color Behavior: Blue creates a cooler berry pink; Purple deepens toward magenta; Green softens into a muted rose tone. Final result will still activate pink due to the pH dye.
