3/18/22 We changed White Beeswax Beads from pastille to granule. The pastilles are a flat bottom bead with a diameter of approximately 5mm. The previous product is shown on the right image.

White Beeswax is sold in pastilles and has a solid white appearance.  It can be used in lotions, lip products, creams, eye pencils, soap and candle making, etc.

New format of the white beeswax shown on the left image and old format shown on the right image.

Cera Alba (Beeswax) (CAS#: 8012-89-3)

White Beeswax doesn't carry the classic aroma that the Yellow beeswax does.

This beeswax is provided in the easy-to-measure and easy-to-melt form of beads (rather than blocks).

It's beeswax - works as expected.

I'm a bigger fan of pastilles since the granules stick to the scooping spoon, but it's not a big deal. If your oils are brown/yellow, your balm will also be yellow unless you add titanium dioxide for color. Using mineral oil and white/clear emollients will prevent this.

By adding between 25 - 33% of beeswax, you can make a nice lip balm. stearic acid can be used to harden it a bit more, and as a bonus it's also white.
