Particle size (<44 microns).
It's a purifying clay, as its natural minerals and richness in sulfur controls problem areas on the skin. Its high absorption capacity makes it very helpful for oily skin.
Composition breakdown of the mineral elements:
44.41% Silicon Dioxide (SiO2), 29.29% Aluminum Trioxide (Al2O3), 2.44% Iron (III) Oxide (Fe2O3), 0.9% Calcium Oxide (CaO), 0.6% Magnesium Oxide (MgO), 0.01% Manganese Oxide (MnO), 0.84% Sulfur.
