Our soap base is 100% natural, vegan and contains no detergents or artificial ingredients. It is hypo-allergenic, non-comedogenic, and biodegrable. It's perfect for making clear soap, melt and pour projects or can be used in fragrance blends.

The standard Melt & Pour soap we sell is unique in that it is pure soap, containing no detergents. Its see-through aspect is the result of sugars such as glycerin being used to make the soap clear. As a result, it will always appear a little "yellow" and a little "cloudy" (sugars tend to do this to things).
If you are really picky about clarity, especially if you are embedding something in your soap and you want it to be super seeable, then you might prefer to work with our Crystal soap base. This product contains a small amount of detergent as well as extra glycerine to increase clarity. It is still not as clear as a 100% detergent based product, but it is clearer than our standard "clear soap".
