Synthetic Jojoba Wax is a hard synthetic wax of vegetable origin. It has a similar melting point to beeswax. Its properties included film former, texture and thermal stabilizer. It has good binding affinity to oil which helps degreasing lipstick, lipbalm, etc. and improve texture and skin feel. It is a great alternative for hydrogenated jojoba oil and vegan natural alternative for ozokerite, ceresin, paraffin and other hard petroleum-based waxes.

Synthetic Jojoba Wax is provided in the easy-to-measure and easy-to-melt form of white beads (rather than blocks).

Really Draggy and hard to melt

It could be that I did something wrong, but I wanted to harden a salve to a harder balm and I used this wax to keep it vegan. Oh no, major fail. The wax would not melt and I had it above the melting point for a while, stirring in between, it never melted down. and whatever did melt down made my product so hard to spread. It felt more like candle wax than something for cosmetics. I could be wrong, of course, this product just didn't work for me. I am giving it 3 stars because I'm sure its a decent wax for something else, like hardening the wax for candle makers?
