Our Soft pigments are pigments which are pre-blended with mica and bismuth oxychloride. The resulting product is much, much easier to blend into your cosmetic formula. In fact, you do not need to use any type of shearing mixer (such as a blender), but instead may simply shake the colors together with the base ingredients.

Mica (77019), Bismuth Oxychloride (77163), Manganese Violet (77742)
Particle size (4-30 microns).

Literally looks like the photo, but save your money and buy manganese violet if you just want a p...

A nice soft violet that I realized was out of my budget. Use it for lip gloss, NOT as color for your lotions, soaps, or body butters. It's not worth it.

This is $4 for 6 grams and $12 for an ounce, which is twice the price of most pigments here, probably due to the bismuth oxychloride. If you just want a purple mica you'd save more money buying their extender white (mica + titanium dioxide) or generic sparkle mica (depending on how sheer and sparkly you want it) and blending it with manganese violet, especially if you buy in bulk. I wish TKB would offer a lip safe plain purple mica that's cheaper than this.

Color worked perfectly!! I use

Color worked perfectly!! I use it to color my lipglosses, and it colors them just right. Looks exactly like the photo! Does not leave a grainy feel and mixes in with combinations really well.
