Ozokerite Wax
Ozokerite wax is awesome

Ozokerite has a high melt point so requires the right equipment and some patience, but the payoff is worth it!

If beeswax = shea butter, ozokerite wax = CCT/MCT — it feels very, very thin on skin. It has a much lower viscosity than microcrystalline wax, doesn’t feel as thick, has barely any tack, and imparts a glossy sheen & quick absorption very similar to dry oils.

It’s completely non-comedogenic and therefore safe for use in leave-on skincare products (fun fact: ozokerite is a main ingredient in Aquaphor).

It can thicken, opacity & whiten many oils starting around 0.75-1%, readily blending into the skin to a barely-there feel & glowy finish (leaning towards oily depending on the formula). I’ve found it’s best to combine with other wax(es) for use in stick formulas.

Just note that it doesn’t have that thick feeling on the lips that you’ll get from other waxes & gloss bases etc., which can be a good or bad thing depending on what you’re trying to make.

This is a great concealer color to use dry or mix with water.

Perfect Concealer Color

Echo can be used on a brush as a light concealer color or you can add water to it and when it dries use a dry brush and it will conceal anything. I also use it underneath my eyes and place sweet almond oil over it. You can go back with a little bit of Echo on a brush and blend it with your finger tips for a smooth and well covered under eye look. The sweet almond oil is a great moisturizer and will make you look years younger! Thank you, TKB for making so many wonderful fragrance-free products!

Soft and pretty

I’ve reviewed this already, but wanted to come back and review without any other color. This is a beautiful soft peachy beige color with a soft violet shimmer undertone. Mixed in gloss it gives a nudist shimmer/sheen. Very beautiful if you just want a beautiful subtle shimmer on your lips. And I have used it over a dark purple eyeshadow to soften it and it is absolutely beautiful. I love it! Just buy it if your on the fence. It will work well with almost any color.

Very nice

This isn’t the actual color. I mixed this with tkb monochrome orange, to test the color. The actual color of this when mixed with oil/gloss would give you a very pretty deep beige/light peachy color. Best I can do describe. It is really pretty and soft color. I will try and update color when I pull it out again.
