Ozokerite Wax
Ozokerite wax is awesome

Ozokerite has a high melt point so requires the right equipment and some patience, but the payoff is worth it!

If beeswax = shea butter, ozokerite wax = CCT/MCT — it feels very, very thin on skin. It has a much lower viscosity than microcrystalline wax, doesn’t feel as thick, has barely any tack, and imparts a glossy sheen & quick absorption very similar to dry oils.

It’s completely non-comedogenic and therefore safe for use in leave-on skincare products (fun fact: ozokerite is a main ingredient in Aquaphor).

It can thicken, opacity & whiten many oils starting around 0.75-1%, readily blending into the skin to a barely-there feel & glowy finish (leaning towards oily depending on the formula). I’ve found it’s best to combine with other wax(es) for use in stick formulas.

Just note that it doesn’t have that thick feeling on the lips that you’ll get from other waxes & gloss bases etc., which can be a good or bad thing depending on what you’re trying to make.

I love TKB, and I've been their customer for around ten years, maybe. This MMAriel is a pretty shade of matte red oxide. They have the best Customer Service, a broad range of mica colors, and glitters, of all sizes, types, and colors, and they're absolutely beautiful! The prices are very much "great" prices.

This is a lovely deep red, but not a blood red. It is not as shimmery as I expected, more flat looking.

Just Gorgeous , Sexy Gorgeous Red

This reminds me of Redken, the vintage late 70s early 80s Redken , and for the life of me I couldn't remember why ... skip forward a few years later after first buying this colour and I know what it is . Redken produced cosmetics and soap decades ago ( they might still today ) and my aunt had their entire line in bulk after she left the profession hair/make-up artist industry in 1983 . In one of her of rooms was 2 -3 boxes full of hundred of the deepest darkest rusty red plum colour bar soaps that my busy snooping-nosey eyes had ever seen . I had not thought of that in over 33 + years until I saw this gorgeous and decadent red . Can't get enough of this loveliness.

Matte lipstick

I made a matte lipstick with this and can't explain how beautiful the color is. It's more of an orange toned red, opaque and pigmented which especially suits indian skin tones. Received so many compliments for this color and also got many buyers..Buying more of this..
