TKB Natural Gloss Base has a pale yellow color and can be a base or an add-on ingredient for your recipes. It's great at suspending pigments and glitter. May be used in color cosmetics as well as skincare, haircare, and oil based cosmetic formulations.
Shelf Life: 24 months.
Recommended usage level: 1 - 100% of formula.
This product will mix well with most oils but it is incompatible with CCT (Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride), Fractionated Coconut Oil, and Dimethicone. It is also insoluble in water and alcohols.
We recommend mineral oils, isododecane, polyisobutene and natural oils such as Apricot and Castor as good products for blending with TKB Natural Gloss Base..
Try this easy Jojoba Lip Oil Recipe:
8 grams- Hydrogenated Polyisobutene
7 grams- TDTM
4 grams- TKB Natural Gloss Base
Stir all three ingredients together and add your preferred color of lip liquid & mica as desired. Don't forget a couple drops of your favorite TKB flavoring oil!
